Alex Agurto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Posam having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Andres Brandao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agua Buena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kusapin the free kick. A collision led to Kusapin getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Américo Villarreal hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Kusapin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Giancarlo Carranza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emanuel Pérez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Pinilla was a little too slow when Emanuel Pérez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jorge Pinilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Pérez in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Agua Buena's Emanuel Pérez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Pinilla . That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. Jaime Benavides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Posam having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alexis Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agua Buena's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Pinilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Posam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Agurto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Jaime Benavides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Posam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Pinilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Pérez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Pérez made a kick off. Emanuel Pérez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Agua Buena's Giancarlo Carranza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Pinilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kusapin's Alejandro Paredes got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Giancarlo Carranza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agua Buena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giancarlo Carranza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Emanuel Pérez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kusapin's Jorge Pinilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Kusapin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. If Emanuel Pérez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Orlando Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kusapin's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Nuñez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Posam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giancarlo Carranza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Pinilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Emanuel Pérez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kusapin's Jorge Pinilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giancarlo Carranza in the 92nd minute of play. If Emanuel Pérez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Emanuel Pérez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Pinilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Agua Buena had played much better football throughout.
