The supporters of Arraiján booed when Herrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Hermes Osorio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Herrera's Miguel Morales didn't even have to move. A collision led to Herrera getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mario Gomez hit a great ball. Alexander Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Juan De Leon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Alexander Gutierrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herrera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulpiano Gómez in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Morales saved Herrera from getting behind. Ulpiano Gómez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Miguel Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Hermes Osorio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Morales having to make a save. Tomaso Aizprua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Alexander Gutierrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th match minute, Arraiján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Ríos to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Ulpiano Gómez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 38th minute, Mario Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romel Ulloa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Morales having to interfere. Ulpiano Gómez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Miguel Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Mario Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute, Romel Ulloa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Arraiján players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Herrera were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulpiano Gómez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romel Ulloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romel Ulloa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Morales having to interfere. Alexander Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Romel Ulloa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Herrera's Miguel Morales. Miguel Morales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romel Ulloa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Morales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The nice shot from Tomaso Aizprua in the 77thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Juan De Leon had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Arraiján's Romel Ulloa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Morales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan De Leon having to interfere. Arraiján's Juan De Leon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Gutierrez in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the game, Hermes Fernandez landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Alexander Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Arraiján's Juan De Leon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Arraiján from getting a goal against them. Alexander Gutierrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomaso Aizprua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan De Leon having to interfere. The Herrera players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arraiján from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
