Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Monchi Gil kicked off to start the match. If Rafael Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Meteti's Wilfredo Batista got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Chimán F.C.'s Rafael Moreno made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Amaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Meteti's zone, Rafael Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Amaya came out of the goal and Rafael Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emanuel Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Meteti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Pimentel couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monchi Gil in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toto Pinilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Meteti's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Moreno came free, but Gilberto Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gilberto Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Moreno hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Cesar Ortega might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Amaya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Ortega ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 36 minutes, Wilfredo Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meteti and the Chimán F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Meteti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Humberto Barrera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Amaya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Chimán F.C.'s Cesar Ortega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Amaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 43 in the game by Emanuel Pimentel from a close distance when the talented Toto Pinilla managed to make a qualified save. Chimán F.C.'s players were relieved. Américo Muñoz charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Muñoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chimán F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Américo Muñoz hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Moreno made a kick off. In the 55th minute Rafael Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Amaya having to interfere. Cesar Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Toto Pinilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Pimentel in the 65th minute of the match. When Emanuel Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Meteti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Pimentel couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Chimán F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nicolás Gutierrez hit a great ball. When Rafael Muñoz fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meteti's protests and gave Rafael Muñoz a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Ortega got free with Gilberto Amaya in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Carlos Centella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toto De Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes, Meteti's Juan Palma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toto Pinilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meteti reached it. Chimán F.C.'s Toto Pinilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Pimentel in the 90th minute of play. Toto Pinilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monchi Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Batista in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toto Pinilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Chimán F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chimán F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
