Juan Gutierrez hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Coetupo F.C.'s Mario Arias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Peren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonidas Moscoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Hector Peren made a huge save. Hector Peren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonidas Moscoso in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Celmira F.C.'s Wiliam Jaen got a free kick in the 35th minute. Celmira F.C.'s Hector Peren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonidas Moscoso in the 36th minute of play. Rolando Toledano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Coetupo F.C.'s Leonidas Moscoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hector Peren. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Arias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonidas Moscoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Leonidas Moscoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Peren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Andrés Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Coetupo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Toledano came free, but Andres Morris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Moscoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Felix Lozano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celmira F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Lozano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Coetupo F.C.'s zone, Felix Lozano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Morris came out of the goal and Felix Lozano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hector Peren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Coetupo F.C. had won after a very even match.
