The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bocatoneña FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reggie Benavides in the 7th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Javier Mota advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 7th minute. Victor Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Manuel De Gracia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José De Gracia in the 18th minute of the match. When Ricardo Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bocatoneña FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Pimentel couldn't finish the play. José De Gracia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel De Gracia having to interfere. When Guillermo Villalaz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Kanir-Dup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Villalaz couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Bocatoneña FC's Javier Mota dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

If Javier Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 3-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Ricardo Pimentel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bocatoneña FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Kanir-Dup's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Pimentel came free, but Victor Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Bocatoneña FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Manuel De Gracia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José De Gracia in the 94th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Villalaz got free with Manuel De Gracia in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kanir-Dup players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bocatoneña FC.
