The supporters of Los Patos Cabreros FC booed when La Palma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Pinilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Lozano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gilberto Vergara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. One of Los Patos Cabreros FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Palma:s goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Lozano made a kick off. With a little luck, La Palma's Gilberto Vergara got control of the ball when Romel Herrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Pimentel in the 54th minute of play forced Los Patos Cabreros FC's goalkeeper Alex Garcia De Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, La Palma's Gilberto Vergara got control of the ball when Romel Herrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romel Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Gómez in the 75th minute of play forced Los Patos Cabreros FC's goalkeeper Alex Garcia De Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Mario Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Garcia De Paredes having to interfere. In the 97th minute Francesco Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Garcia De Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Patos Cabreros FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
