Hermes Centella charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermes Centella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Llano Largo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hermes Centella hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Ramon González shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Agurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Ramon González notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Llano Largo's Julio Agurto. Julio Agurto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Pinilla in the 34th minute of play forced Llano Largo's goalkeeper Julio Agurto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Agurto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Pinilla in the 36th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Llano Largo's Beto Fernandez threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monchi Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Llano Largo booed when Nombre De Dios F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Espino didn't get a good kick on the ball.
