Giancarlo Vergara came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Rita Arriba's Lucho De Diego. But to his dismay, Lucho De Diego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monchi Escobar in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cheito García saved Santa Rita Arriba from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Jorge Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Rita Arriba's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Sánchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giancarlo Vergara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giancarlo Vergara having to interfere. In the last second Cheito García throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sebastián Peralta in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A hard shot 29 in the game by Max De Leon from a close distance when the talented Cheito García managed to make a qualified save. Santa Rita Arriba's players were relieved. In the 31stth minute of the game Jorge Sánchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Mitra's Giancarlo Vergara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Rita Arriba's zone, Sebastián Peralta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheito García came out of the goal and Sebastián Peralta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sebastián Peralta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cheito García was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 43rd match minute, La Mitra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Gomez to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Santa Rita Arriba's Moisés Vergara got a free kick in the 45th minute. Cheito García took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Moisés Vergara made the kick off in the second half. Santa Rita Arriba's Cheito García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Peralta in the 57th minute of play. La Mitra's Giancarlo Vergara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Vergara in the 63rd minute of play. La Mitra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastián Peralta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Santa Rita Arriba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
