Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Monchi Fernández made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Puerto Pilón's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Sobenis came free, but Rigoberto Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Puerto Pilón:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chilibre F.C.:s goal. Monchi Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Orlando García tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chilibre F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Monchi Fernández scored to the left of an out of position Orlando García, making the score, 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Chilibre F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Arias to maneuver through the defense. Monchi Fernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando García showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monchi Fernández in the 34th minute of the match. Monchi Fernández's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando García read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Beto Bermudez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orlando García quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rigoberto Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Pinilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Sobenis made a kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Mario Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilibre F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mario Arias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Rigoberto Gomez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Mario Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilibre F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mario Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joe Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando García having to interfere. Beto Sobenis kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 80th minute when Monchi Fernández elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Puerto Pilón's Rigoberto Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Sobenis in the 89th minute of play. Joe Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando García having to interfere. In the 94th minute Joe Barrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Chilibre F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chilibre F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Puerto Pilón were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
