Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jose Sobenis started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Beto Sobenis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chilibre F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chitré the free kick. After 7 played minutes Chilibre F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Beto Sobenis. After 10 minutes, Mario Arias made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chitré's Javier Orozco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergio Palma might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando García. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Palma ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergio Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando García having to interfere. Orlando García showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Orlando García stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto De Paredes's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chitré's zone, Jose Sobenis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Orozco came out of the goal and Jose Sobenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Chilibre F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Palma came free, but Orlando García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando García didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Palma went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th match minute, Chitré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Chitré's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Sobenis came free, but Javier Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beto De Paredes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Javier Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Sobenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Mario Arias in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jose Sobenis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilibre F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Sobenis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Orozco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Sobenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Arias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Orozco having to make a save. Beto De Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando García having to interfere. Orlando García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto De Paredes in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Chilibre F.C.'s goalkeeper Orlando García had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Palma. 82 minutes into the match, Chilibre F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Beto De Paredes came free, but Orlando García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Palma came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Orlando García could save by the left post. Beto De Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Sobenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Orozco having to interfere. Chitré's Gilberto Carranza shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Orlando García but with some difficulty. Chilibre F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
