The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raul Morales kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Bultrón in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martín Castillero saved Llano De Piedra F.C. from getting behind. Horconcitos F.C.'s Miguel Quiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Barrera in the 18th minute of play. After 23 played minutes, Horconcitos F.C.'s Totín Centella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martín Castillero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Horconcitos F.C. reached it. If José Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, José Herrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Bultrón was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Monchi Diaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martín Castillero. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. Monchi Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Llano De Piedra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Corral. Totín Centella, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 67th minute, Totín Centella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llano De Piedra F.C.'s Martín Castillero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bultrón in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Horconcitos F.C.'s Totín Centella got a free kick in the 77th minute. If José Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Barrera, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 85 minutes, Marcos Smith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horconcitos F.C. and the Llano De Piedra F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Horconcitos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Smith. Horconcitos F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
