Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilfredo Calderón kicked off to start the match. If Wilfredo Calderón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Wilfredo Calderón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nicolás Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Wilfredo Calderón got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rafael Orozco struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Nicolás Murillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escobal F.C.. Humberto Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Ortega in the 31st minute of play forced Escobal F.C.'s goalkeeper Alex Muñoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wilfredo Quirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Escobal F.C.'s Alex Muñoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Quirós in the 36th minute of play. Humberto Ortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alex Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ustupo's Nicolás Murillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ustupo from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Ortega made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Calderón in the 55th minute of play forced Ustupo's goalkeeper Nicolás Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Escobal F.C.'s Wilfredo Calderón in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ustupo's goalie prevented a goal. Humberto Ortega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rafael Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Escobal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramón De Diego. Ustupo's Wilfredo Quirós got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Tomás Peren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ustupo and the Escobal F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ustupo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tomás Peren hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Escobal F.C.'s Jonathan Spadafora got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Rafael Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Escobal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Spadafora to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Humberto Ortega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustin Brandao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alex Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ustupo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
