Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Christian Henriguez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Gilberto Pinilla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rigoberto Pinilla. Gilberto Pinilla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gustavo Escalona hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Tonosí F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián De Paredes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Villa Rosario getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Manuel Valdez hit a great ball. Christian Henriguez struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Javier Benavides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tonosí F.C.. 23 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Gil notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Villa Rosario's Javier Benavides. Javier Benavides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rigoberto Pinilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Totín Pimentel. Lorenzo Gil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Benavides having to make a save. If Alexis Lao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Christian Henriguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Rosario's Javier Benavides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Pinilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Villa Rosario's zone, Lorenzo Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Benavides came out of the goal and Lorenzo Gil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rigoberto Carranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute of the match Elias Ulloa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rigoberto Pinilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Villa Rosario's Alexis Lao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Pinilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alexis Lao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Rosario's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Lao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Pinilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Tonosí F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gustavo Escalona hit a great ball. Villa Rosario were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Tonosí F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Totín Pimentel took the corner. Villa Rosario's Hermes Tijero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rigoberto Pinilla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Villa Rosario defense, Lorenzo Gil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Benavides. The Villa Rosario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Benavides should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Gilberto Pinilla made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Pinilla. Tonosí F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
