With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Paredes in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Murillo saved Portobelo from getting behind. Portobelo's Pedro Murillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Portobelo from getting a goal against them. If Totín Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Lao got free with Pedro Murillo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Lao struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Pedro Murillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amsterdam FC. Pedro Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Lao, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 75th minute Cesar Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raul Lao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Eloy Castillero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
