After a rather tough play, Parita's Alberto Alfaro got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Ramón Vergara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Parita's Eloy Gil. Eloy Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Parita's zone, Raul Espino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Gil came out of the goal and Raul Espino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Parita's Carlos Castro got a free kick in the 41st minute. Lucho Gonzalez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Eloy Gil made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Raul Espino made the kick off in the second half. Ramón Vergara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Gil having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Carranza in the 57th minute of play forced Parita's goalkeeper Eloy Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, El Rincón's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Spadafora came free, but Humberto Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Parita's Pablo Spadafora got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, El Rincón's Javier Carranza got a free kick in the 64th minute. Nicolás Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pablo Spadafora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, El Rincón's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Spadafora came free, but Humberto Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Gil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Espino's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Raul Espino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Rincón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Espino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Ramón Vergara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parita's Eloy Gil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pablo Spadafora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Spadafora in the 96th minute of the match.
