Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andrés Caballero made the kick off which started today's match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Alex Mota took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Enrique Pimentel to make any attempt to save it. Andrés Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Azael Lao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Villa Carmen F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Juan Bautista:s goal. The referee gave San Juan Bautista a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivan Urane, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Villa Carmen F.C.'s Azael Lao. 1-1. When Andrés Caballero came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the San Juan Bautista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrés Caballero couldn't finish the play. Andrés Caballero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in San Juan Bautista's zone, Alex Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Pimentel came out of the goal and Alex Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Alejandro Henriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Juan Bautista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Henriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute Alejandro Henriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azael Lao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alex Mota made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Enrique Pimentel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, San Juan Bautista's José Smith got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jorge Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pimentel having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Villa Carmen F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andrés Caballero came free, but Azael Lao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Corral during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Villa Carmen F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Corral to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Henriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azael Lao having to interfere. If Jorge Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute of the match Ivan Urane shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Azael Lao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute of the match, Andrés Caballero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Azael Lao saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alejandro Henriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azael Lao having to interfere. Azael Lao was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Andrés Caballero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrés Caballero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched San Juan Bautista eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
