Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Villa Rosario's Sebastián García started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Achutupo F.C.'s goalkeeper Moisés Chavez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Enrique Quirós fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Rosario's protests and gave Enrique Quirós a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Achutupo F.C. booed when Villa Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Quirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucho Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sebastián Valdez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Villa Rosario's Sebastián García in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Achutupo F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Rigoberto Caballero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Achutupo F.C. and the Villa Rosario players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Rigoberto Caballero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luchito Zambrano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Luchito Zambrano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Rosario's supporters rose to their feet, but Luchito Zambrano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Chavez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastián García sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Sobenis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Antonio Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achutupo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Caballero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Villa Rosario's Sebastián García in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Achutupo F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Villa Rosario's Sebastián Valdez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Caballero in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 33 in the game by Lucho Castro from a close distance when the talented Sebastián Valdez managed to make a qualified save. Villa Rosario's players were relieved. Sebastián García sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moisés Chavez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luchito Zambrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Moisés Chavez came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Rosario's Sebastián García. But to his dismay, Sebastián García quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

Antonio Caballero kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Achutupo F.C.'s zone, Sebastián García stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Chavez came out of the goal and Sebastián García tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastián Valdez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Caballero in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Antonio Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Valdez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Escalona kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Lucho Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Villa Rosario's goal looked a bit too open when Lucho Castro came free, but Sebastián Valdez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Achutupo F.C.'s zone, Sebastián García stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Chavez came out of the goal and Sebastián García tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villa Rosario's Luchito Zambrano got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Achutupo F.C.'s Matias Sobenis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sebastián García blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Chavez having to make a save. Moisés Chavez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luchito Zambrano in the 77th minute. After 83 played minutes Villa Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Juan Escalona. 87 minutes into the match, Achutupo F.C.'s goalkeeper Moisés Chavez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luchito Zambrano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Quintero during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Achutupo F.C. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jose Quintero hit a great ball. Luchito Zambranos short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Moisés Chavez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Villa Rosario walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
