Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alejandro Batista took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th match minute, La Tiza F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Totin Espino to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Milton Paredes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Villalobos was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Eduardo Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Espino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes in the game, Alejandro Batista fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eloy Espino having to interfere. Alejandro Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Espino having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Moscoso in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Villalobos saved La Tiza F.C. from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milton Paredes in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Villalobos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Joe Moscoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Uvito's Eloy Espino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Batista in the 35th minute of play. Eduardo Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Espino having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Tomás Henriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Wilfredo Morris sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Uvito's Eloy Espino didn't even have to move. With an all-out effort, La Tiza F.C.'s Eloy Espino threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alejandro Batista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alejandro Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Espino having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Totin Espino could shoot a difficult shot in the 50th minute, which Eloy Espino however easily saved by the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

60 minutes into the match, La Tiza F.C.'s goalkeeper David Villalobos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milton Paredes. Eloy Espino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Uvito's zone, Eduardo Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Espino came out of the goal and Eduardo Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joe Moscoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. David Villalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Moscoso in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Batista in the 73rd minute of play forced El Uvito's goalkeeper Eloy Espino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Totin Espino kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Raul Herbruger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Villalobos. La Tiza F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Milton Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the El Uvito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Paredes couldn't finish the play. Joe Moscoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joe Moscoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. David Villalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Tiza F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
