Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heraclides Sánchez kicked off to start the match. Leonidas Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Osorio having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Fabio Posam put in a rough tackle. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Isla Iguana F.C.! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Mañanitas. Ramon Carrillo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Escalona. 0-1. Marcos Escalona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Spadafora, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mañanitas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramon Carrillo in the 21st minute. Felipe Batista tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Marcos Escalona. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 21st minute. Mañanitas's Luis Osorio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Mañanitas from getting a goal against them. Marcos Escalona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heraclides Sánchez's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute Heraclides Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Escalona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Escalona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Spadafora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beto Pérez's late challenge caught a Mañanitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beto Pérez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Leonidas Zapata fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luis Osorio, passed just outside the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Luis Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Isla Iguana F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Escalona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heraclides Sánchez. Heraclides Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isla Iguana F.C.'s Leonidas Zapata got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Isla Iguana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Corral to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Heraclides Sánchez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Escalona. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. Leonidas Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luis Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heraclides Sánchez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Marcos Escalona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heraclides Sánchez in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Escalona saved Isla Iguana F.C. from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mañanitas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
