With a little luck, Isla Iguana F.C.'s Marcos Escalona got control of the ball when Joe Peralta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Tello during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute Emanuel Arauz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Escalona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Marcos Garcia De Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nombre De Dios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Garcia De Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Isla Iguana F.C. booed when Nombre De Dios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Ríos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joe Carrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isla Iguana F.C.'s Leonidas Zapata in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marcos Escalona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Peralta's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Nombre De Dios's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
