In the 15th minute, Alex Carranza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Ramirez in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Chavez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Chavez made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Manuel Urane sent off a good shot on target. Pocrí's Carlos Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Mendieta in the 29th minute of play forced Pocrí's goalkeeper Azael Trejos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Franklin Mendieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azael Trejos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Franklin Mendieta made a precise shot to the right of Azael Trejos. Pocrí's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Manuel Urane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Emiliano Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franklin Mendieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pocrí players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santa Ana Arriba F.C. were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Nuñez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Ramirez in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Chavez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, Pocrí's goalkeeper Azael Trejos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin Mendieta. Emiliano Chavez came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Pocrí's Carlos Ramirez. But to his dismay, Carlos Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Franklin Mendieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Manuel Urane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocrí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Urane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s Raul Espino got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Carlos Ramirez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s Emiliano Chavez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiliano Chavez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Urane, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s Raul Espino got a free kick in the 79th minute. With an all-out effort, Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s Azael Trejos threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Nuñez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Azael Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Carlos Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
