A collision led to Puerto Pilón getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Totin Quintero hit a great ball. Carlos Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sebastián Agurto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Agurto having to interfere. 30 minutes in the game, Carlos Ramirez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastián Agurto having to interfere. Alex Carranza kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Manuel Urane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sebastián Agurto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Ramirez to make the kick off. Azael Trejos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan De Paredes in the 54th minute of the match. Alex Carranza kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Mario Muñoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Carranza charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Carranza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Pocrí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Carranza to maneuver through the defense. Puerto Pilón's Antonio Benavides couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pocrí. Carlos Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Agurto having to interfere. When Manuel Urane came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Pocrí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Urane couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Carlos Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Agurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Urane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Agurto having to interfere. Mario Muñoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Azael Trejos made a huge save. Manuel Urane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pocrí's Carlos Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Muñoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Azael Trejos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Muñoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute Manuel Urane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Agurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
