Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Urane started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Totin Cedeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Urane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Miguel Urane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Raya De Santa María's Heraclides Smith got a free kick in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolás Mora in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonidas De Gracia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Totin Cedeño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Zapata, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Andres Quiros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonidas De Gracia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Andres Quiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonidas De Gracia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Moisés Pinilla charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moisés Pinilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Moisés Pinilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Totin Cedeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Zapata in the 27th minute of play. Leonidas De Gracia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Quiros in the 30th minute. Leonidas De Gracia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Mora in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to La Raya De Santa María getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Wilfredo Jaen hit a great ball. Nicolás Mora struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Leonidas De Gracia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punta Peña F.C.. Totin Cedeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Urane in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punta Peña F.C.'s goalkeeper Totin Cedeño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nicolás Mora made the kick off in the second half. Miguel Urane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punta Peña F.C.'s goalkeeper Totin Cedeño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute Miguel Urane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Totin Cedeño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Totin Cedeño was a little too slow when Miguel Urane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-1. Alexis Caballero hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Punta Peña F.C.'s Totin Cedeño got control of the ball when Moisés Pinilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Urane was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. La Raya De Santa María's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Miguel Urane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Totin Cedeño having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Punta Peña F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Murillo. In the 94th minute, Rafael Zapata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Andres Quiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Raya De Santa María's Leonidas De Gracia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Punta Peña F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Raya De Santa María's performance. The match ended with a win for La Raya De Santa María.
