After a defensive mix-up in Pedregal F.C.'s zone, Alberto Spadafora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheito Escalona came out of the goal and Alberto Spadafora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes of play, Canoa F.C.'s Alexander Lozano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cheito Escalona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesar Villalobos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Edgardo Urane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alexander Lozano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Villalobos was the one to do the kick off. If Cesar Villalobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alberto Spadafora came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Canoa F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Spadafora couldn't finish the play.
