Tomaso Agurto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes in the game, Andres Quiros fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cheito Escalona having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Alejandro Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Villalobos made a kick off. Nicolás Mora might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cheito Escalona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolás Mora ran back to his position shaking his head. Andres Quiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Edgardo Urane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Totin Cedeño. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 62ndth minute of the game Nicolás Mora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedregal F.C.'s Cheito Escalona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cheito Escalona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolás Mora's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Cesar Villalobos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Urane might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Totin Cedeño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Punta Peña F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedregal F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Punta Peña F.C. booed when Pedregal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Urane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedregal F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
