Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rigoberto Dely got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Agurto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Osorio in the 3rd minute of play. Andres Muñozs short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Ricardo Tello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, El Coco's goalkeeper Ricardo Tello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Muñoz. In the 12th match minute, El Coco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucho Mendoza to maneuver through the defense. Andres Muñoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Tello having to interfere. El Coco's Ricardo Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Dely in the 16th minute of play. Victor Villarreal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carlos Agurto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Victor Villarreal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Coco and the Isla Iguana F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes El Coco got a freekick which was hit by Victor Villarreal. Carlos Agurto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Andres Muñoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Muñoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ricardo Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rigoberto Dely, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ricardo Tello was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Carlos Agurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Agurto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Isla Iguana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Osorio came free, but Carlos Agurto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moisés Osorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Gomez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Moisés Osorio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Agurto. The supporters of El Coco booed when Isla Iguana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Tijero didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Osorio in the 97th minute of play forced Isla Iguana F.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Agurto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Coco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
