Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mamitipo's Tomaso Henriguez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Tomaso Henriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamitipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomaso Henriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Humberto Castillero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 played minutes Chichica got a freekick which was hit by Martín Peralta. The supporters of Mamitipo booed when Chichica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Trejos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Castillero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Luis Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Martín Peralta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chichica and the Mamitipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chichica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Martín Peralta hit a great ball. Victor Sánchez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Perez. Chichica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute, Tomás Peralta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Tomás Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mamitipo booed when Chichica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucho Cedeño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucho Calderón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Perez having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Fernando Cedeño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mamitipo and the Chichica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucho Calderón received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Perez came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucho Calderón slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucho Calderón to strike the kick off in the second half. 3-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Lucho Calderón elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomaso Henriguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Perez having to make a save. Tomaso Henriguez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luis Perez came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomaso Henriguez slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 72nd minute. Mamitipo's Humberto Castillero got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Peralta scored 4-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Perez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Calderón in the 86th minute of play forced Mamitipo's goalkeeper Enrique Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Castillero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomaso Henriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luis Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucho Calderón's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
