The supporters of Cermeño booed when Bajo Boquete F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Agurto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Bajo Boquete F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Gil came free, but Rafael Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Alfaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Emanuel Henriguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cermeño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bajo Boquete F.C. the free kick. Emanuel Henriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Bajo Boquete F.C.'s Fernando Morris broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 23rd minute Raul Centella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Alfaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto Villarreal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Francesco Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Enrique Gutierrez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcos Pinilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moisés Alfaro. Cermeño's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Francesco Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cermeño's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Gil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Ramirez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Martín Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bajo Boquete F.C.'s Rafael Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Gil in the 40th minute of play. Martín Gutierrez's late challenge caught a Cermeño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martín Gutierrez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Martín Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Ramirez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francesco Gil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. Beto Villarreal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Guillermo Agurto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Moisés Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Alfaro stood somewhat misplaced when Martín Gutierrez came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 54 minute. In the 60th minute Francesco Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 64th minute of the match Martín Gutierrez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Martín Gutierrez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 64 played minutes Bajo Boquete F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Martín Gutierrez. If Enrique Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes Bajo Boquete F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Calito Gil who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rolando Caballero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rafael Ramirez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bajo Boquete F.C.'s Rafael Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Gil in the 83rd minute of play. If Enrique Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Quintero in the 94th minute of play forced Bajo Boquete F.C.'s goalkeeper Rafael Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bajo Boquete F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
