Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Gil made the kick off and thus started the match. Felix Dely's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ramón Morales firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Gil in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Orozco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto Ortiz in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramón Morales saved Unión Chocó F.C. from getting behind. Alex Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romel Villarreal in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Alejandro Pinilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icantí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Pinilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Pinilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ramón Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Unión Chocó F.C.'s goalkeeper Ramón Morales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Ortiz. In the 17th minute Manuel Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Icantí's goal looked a bit too open when Romel Villarreal came free, but Alex Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomaso Cedeño in the 19th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Icantí fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Matias Pimentel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Ramón Morales when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Ortiz got free with Ramón Morales in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Matias Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icantí's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Morales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Icantí's Mario Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramón Morales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Dely in the 37th minute. Felix Dely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Morales having to interfere. Manuel Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alex Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Unión Chocó F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Dely to make the kick off. Alex Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Gil in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Icantí getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Matias Pimentel hit a great ball. Ramón Morales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Icantí's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Gil came free, but Alex Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Unión Chocó F.C.'s Manuel Gil in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Icantí's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Chavez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Morales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Icantí's Matias Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Matias Pimentel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Morales was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Felix Dely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Dely struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ramón Morales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icantí. Icantí's Matias Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Felix Dely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Reggie De Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Unión Chocó F.C. booed when Icantí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
