Narciso Edeon hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Orfilio Minilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Gama having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, CD Namarin's goal looked a bit too open when Espinola Rezabal came free, but Jeremias Bevia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xamo Mediano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Bevia having to interfere. The supporters of CD Namarin booed when Putunts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Edeon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umbruso Chacin during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CD Namarin getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Umbruso Chacin hit a great ball. Geovanny Tarazona, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Espinola Rezabal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Bevia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, CD Namarin's Jeremias Bevia got control of the ball when Xamo Mediano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, CD Namarin's goal looked a bit too open when Espinola Rezabal came free, but Jeremias Bevia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Xamo Mediano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 50th match minute, CD Namarin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Cevallo to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Espinola Rezabal to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Espinola Rezabal sped through CD Namarin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremias Bevia. If Xamo Mediano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes CD Namarin got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Ballin. Umbruso Chacin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Espinola Rezabal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Bevia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Xamo Mediano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamo Mediano in the 92nd minute of play forced CD Namarin's goalkeeper Jeremias Bevia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orfilio Minilo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mauricio Gama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Namarin. Espinola Rezabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Jeremias Bevia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CD Namarin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
