After 25 minutes, Carcelén Lezama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Pedregal and the Bacundo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 27 minutes into the match, Bacundo SC's Quiróz Cera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléber Morua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonzales Robires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Morua having to interfere. Luzuriaga Santiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Carbajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With his leg Luzuriaga Santiso managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when CD Pedregal's Oscar Espoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luzuriaga Santiso came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Pedregal's Oscar Espoa. But to his dismay, Oscar Espoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Quiróz Cera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Morua having to interfere. Gonzales Robires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Morua having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Santiago Carbajo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Santiago Carbajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luzuriaga Santiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bacundo SC's Aragón Valenciaga got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Vistruario Represa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Quiróz Cera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kléber Morua came out and tried to block the shot, but Quiróz Cera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. If Quiróz Cera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Oscar Espoa made a precise shot to the right of Luzuriaga Santiso. Bacundo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 75th minute, Oscar Espoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
