Eugenio Eguizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quiróz Dorado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentine Flamenco, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Roberto Olazabal put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Quiróz Dorado. In the 22nd minute, Gustavo Meldasgoas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Meldasgoas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Olazabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Quiróz Dorado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustavo Meldasgoas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Diego Alvarellos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Samuel Cañizares kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Ubaldo Raiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Alvarellos was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CD Puyaburo's Diego Alvarellos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Bernat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valentine Flamenco hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of CD Puyaburo booed when Guapa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Berriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Raiz, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Valentine Flamenco's late challenge caught a CD Puyaburo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentine Flamenco helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Olazabal in the 63rd minute of play forced CD Puyaburo's goalkeeper Quiróz Dorado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xoan Pernia charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xoan Pernia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, one of CD Puyaburo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Puyaburo. When the match had been going on for 67 minutes, Guapa FC's Samuel Cañizares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Quiróz Dorado. After 69 minutes of play Guapa FC's Valentine Flamenco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Valentine Flamenco kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, CD Puyaburo's Quiróz Dorado got control of the ball when Gustavo Meldasgoas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Roger Berriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Meldasgoas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quiróz Dorado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Guapa FC defense, Diego Alvarellos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Bernat. The Guapa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Bernat should have stopped the shot. Gustavo Meldasgoas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quiróz Dorado having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Gustavo Meldasgoas notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of CD Puyaburo's Quiróz Dorado. Quiróz Dorado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Guapa FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CD Puyaburo.
