Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xurxo Oterino kicked off to start the match. Flor Ludueña's late challenge caught a Puembo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flor Ludueña helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes CD Puyaburo got a freekick which was hit by Flor Ludueña. Puembo's Zuriko Angeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Eguizabal in the 11th minute of play. Zuriko Angeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Alvarellos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zuriko Angeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Alvarellos in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, CD Puyaburo's goalkeeper Quiróz Dorado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cotera Cossa. After having played for 20 minutes, Cotera Cossa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puembo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cotera Cossa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zuriko Angeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Eguizabal in the 31st minute of play. Xurxo Oterino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quiróz Dorado having to interfere. Eugenio Eguizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Alvarellos made a kick off. In the 56th minute Xurxo Oterino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quiróz Dorado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Puembo fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Puembo's Xurxo Oterino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Alvarellos in the 64th minute of play forced Puembo's goalkeeper Zuriko Angeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Alvarellos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Zuriko Angeles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Puembo's Xurxo Oterino made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quiróz Dorado was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cotera Cossa in the 79th minute of play forced CD Puyaburo's goalkeeper Quiróz Dorado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Diego Alvarellos came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the CD Puyaburo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Alvarellos couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Pepito Rescuro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Cotera Cossa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puembo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Puembo fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Puyaburo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
