Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Petzeinda's Rodolfo Ronquillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martinez Adrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Petzeinda's goal looked a bit too open when Tercero Olloque came free, but Amador Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Petzeinda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quiñónez Madrazo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Camilo Olazarra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Desiderio Gurbista in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jorge Somoza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Estela's zone, Rodolfo Ronquillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Somoza came out of the goal and Rodolfo Ronquillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Ronquillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Somoza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Quiñónez Madrazo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petzeinda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estela the free kick. After a rather tough play, Petzeinda's Quiñónez Madrazo got a free kick in the 27th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Estela's goalkeeper Jorge Somoza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Gurbista. In the 38th minute, Jose Zubizarrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Gurbista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tercero Olloque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, one of Estela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Petzeinda a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Xosepe Ranero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Estela's Jorge Somoza. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martinez Adrian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 63 minutes Estela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xosepe Ranero who took care of the corner kick. Xosepe Ranero made a great header on Petzeinda's corner, it was just that Estela's Jorge Somoza managed to reach the ball for a save. If Rodolfo Ronquillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinez Adrian in the 71st minute of play. If Tercero Olloque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martinez Adrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Gurbista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Somoza having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Martinez Adrian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martinez Adrian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petzeinda's Amador Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Petzeinda from getting a goal against them. Martinez Adrian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
