After 4 minutes, Parisi Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ganacay and the UD Panientza players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ganacay getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Parisi Vidal hit a great ball. José-Manuel Varga hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Carnero Bucaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ganacay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The referee gave UD Panientza a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vicente Alemparte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ganacay's Zambrano Lasa. 0-1. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ganacay's goalkeeper Zambrano Lasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. UD Panientza's Xanti Rano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save UD Panientza from getting a goal against them. The supporters of UD Panientza booed when Ganacay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximun Isla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, UD Panientza's Vicente Alemparte broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Carnero Bucaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zambrano Lasa having to interfere. Xavies Alborza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Xanti Rano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Xavies Alborza made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ganacay's Zambrano Lasa got control of the ball when Domingo Villapecellin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anangonó Salmanton charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some careless play in the UD Panientza defense, Xavies Alborza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xanti Rano. The UD Panientza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xanti Rano should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded UD Panientza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ganacay.
