After 3 played minutes Pallatanga got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Rebolledo. In the 14th minute Ordóñez Chagavia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Junco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominguez Rubi couldn't finish the play. UD Gulac's Hernando Colmenarejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ysidro Salmeron in the 27th minute of play. Pallatanga's Dominguez Rubi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to UD Gulac getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Zenon Ruega hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matamba Limiñana during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes UD Gulac got a freekick which was hit by Matamba Limiñana. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vedillo Pineros in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Junco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ordóñez Chagavia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Pallatanga's Mario Junco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Pallatanga from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ordóñez Chagavia got free with Mario Junco in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Vedillo Pineros managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Gulac's supporters rose to their feet, but Vedillo Pineros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Junco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, UD Gulac's goal looked a bit too open when Ysidro Salmeron came free, but Hernando Colmenarejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ysidro Salmeron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernando Colmenarejo having to interfere. Ysidro Salmeron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, one of Pallatanga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pallatanga. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, UD Gulac's Zayvion Llamas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mario Junco. 79 minutes into the game, Veto Camison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Gulac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pallatanga the free kick. After 79 played minutes UD Gulac got a freekick which was hit by Veto Camison. UD Gulac's supporters rose to their feet, but Vedillo Pineros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Junco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Pallatanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Valcarcel to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Vedillo Pineros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mario Junco. The goal made the score 1-3. The UD Gulac players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
