Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zelipe Hortero started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when CD Guangana's Francisco Tio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Martinez Portilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cruz Cartagena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zelipe Hortero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vermudo Valdenebro having to interfere. If Cruz Cartagena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Tio got free with Vermudo Valdenebro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CD Guangana's Martinez Portilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xamo Capitillo in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in UD Noraspamba's zone, Francisco Tio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vermudo Valdenebro came out of the goal and Francisco Tio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Cruz Cartagena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Noraspamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cruz Cartagena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Zelipe Hortero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vermudo Valdenebro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martinez Portilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xamo Capitillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vermudo Valdenebro was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Zelipe Hortero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zelipe Hortero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Martinez Portilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xamo Capitillo in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, UD Noraspamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Puebla to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute of the match Rodriguez Bielva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vermudo Valdenebro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Xamo Artes fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Noraspamba's protests and gave Xamo Artes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, UD Noraspamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xamo Artes to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes, CD Guangana's Xzaver Monedero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vermudo Valdenebro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Guangana reached it. Martinez Portilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Cartagena in the 56th minute of the match. Vermudo Valdenebro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Tio in the 60th minute of play. Vermudo Valdenebro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zelipe Hortero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairón Ortega hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Xzaver Monedero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vermudo Valdenebro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xamo Capitillo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. UD Noraspamba's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Martinez Portilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xamo Capitillo in the 76th minute. A collision led to CD Guangana getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Francisco Tio hit a great ball. When UD Noraspamba's Xamo Capitillo in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Guangana's goalie prevented a goal. If Zelipe Hortero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Xamo Capitillo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the UD Noraspamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xamo Capitillo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to UD Noraspamba getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Celso Largacha hit a great ball. If Rodriguez Bielva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CD Guangana fans cheered their team off the field, for while UD Noraspamba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
