Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mina Caseres took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hector Arnuero had great luck who in the 2ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Ramirez Acebedo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 4 minutes into the game, Mauricio Arizabaleta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hospitalillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panecillo the free kick. Hector Arnuero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramirez Acebedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute of the match Panecillo got a corner. Hospitalillo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauricio Avienzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mina Caseres in the 11th minute of play forced Hospitalillo's goalkeeper Genaro Cosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Cosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayoví Legazpi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Hospitalillo were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Panecillo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Salas Torienzo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Salas Torienzo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hector Arnuero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, Hospitalillo's Hector Arnuero threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vermudo Cotrofe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hector Arnuero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramirez Acebedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Vermudo Cotrofe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayoví Legazpi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Genaro Cosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Panecillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Setien to maneuver through the defense. Ponce Camazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ponce Camazon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Hector Arnuero made a huge save. With a little luck, Panecillo's Hector Arnuero got control of the ball when Ponce Camazon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panecillo's Ayoví Legazpi got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute Ramirez Acebedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Arnuero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Genaro Cosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mina Caseres in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Ponce Camazon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hospitalillo booed when Panecillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavon Sisquella didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ponce Camazon came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Hospitalillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ponce Camazon couldn't finish the play. Hector Arnuero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramirez Acebedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayoví Legazpis short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Genaro Cosio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ponce Camazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jama Lope charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jama Lope the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jama Lope hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Ponce Camazon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Arnuero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hector Arnuero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ponce Camazon went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hospitalillo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panecillo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
