If Paredes Alaejos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Guilizasti charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Guilizasti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes UD Delta got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Guilizasti. Xuoco Perrote blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilmar Posada having to make a save. Gilmar Posada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urtzi Barra went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the game, Urtzi Barra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gilmar Posada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Garcia Chavez kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Adrada during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenez Filare in the 34th minute of play forced UD Delta's goalkeeper Valiente Revillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes UD Delta got a freekick which was hit by Matamba Arguiso. Gilmar Posada came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Delta's Urtzi Barra. But to his dismay, Urtzi Barra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gilmar Posada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtzi Barra in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, UD Delta's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenez Filare came free, but Valiente Revillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Urtzi Barra made the kick off in the second half. Xuoco Perrote struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gilmar Posada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Delta. 54 minutes into the game, Matamba Arguiso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Delta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Ambatillo the free kick. In the 54th match minute, UD Delta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matamba Arguiso to maneuver through the defense. Xuoco Perrote scored 1-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilmar Posada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilmar Posada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtzi Barra, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Ximenez Filare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valiente Revillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenez Filare in the 71st minute of the match. Zavier Seguin's late challenge caught a UD Delta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zavier Seguin helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in UD Ambatillo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Valiente Revillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paredes Alaejos in the 78th minute of play. Xuoco Perrote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gilmar Posada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urtzi Barra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urtzi Barra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilmar Posada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Xuoco Perrote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UD Delta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
