CD Safando's Gerardo Luciano got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoro Bravain in the 7th minute of play forced Quinjeo's goalkeeper Enrique Lazaeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Ovando Goztros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quinjeo's Enrique Lazaeta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Lazaeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovando Goztros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Hernandez Bugarin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zigor Benagassi. The goal made the score 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Victoro Bravain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Lazaeta. Quinjeo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoro Bravain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 33 played minutes Quinjeo got a freekick which was hit by Xandro Chirino. Leonel Alvarado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Enrique Lazaeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovando Goztros in the 36th minute of play. If Victoro Bravain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernandez Bugarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Oso Lodero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernandez Bugarin in the 45th minute of play forced CD Safando's goalkeeper Zigor Benagassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernandez Bugarin to make the kick off. George Aya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zigor Benagassi having to make a save. 85 minutes into the game, Gerardo Luciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Safando's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quinjeo the free kick. After 85 played minutes CD Safando got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Luciano. With a little luck, Quinjeo's Enrique Lazaeta got control of the ball when Victoro Bravain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute Hernandez Bugarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigor Benagassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hernandez Bugarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute George Aya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigor Benagassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the CD Safando players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quinjeo.
