Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Xusto Tinoco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rene Pison hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Rumicruz's goalkeeper Udalaitz Falceto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alonso Azurmendi charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonso Azurmendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zornin Santianes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximo Ason firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 15 played minutes UD Rumicruz got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Mensa. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Rumicruz's goalkeeper Udalaitz Falceto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Xusto Tinoco in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 23 minutes into the match, Papurume's goalkeeper Maximo Ason had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zornin Santianes. In the 23rd minute, Humberto Plasencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xusto Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Urraca in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Ason prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zornin Santianes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Ason having to interfere. Casado Olozaga struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Udalaitz Falceto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papurume. Zornin Santianes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Ason having to interfere. Casado Olozaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udalaitz Falceto having to interfere. Papurume's Maximo Ason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Urraca in the 45th minute of play. Maximo Ason didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in UD Rumicruz's zone, Casado Olozaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Udalaitz Falceto came out of the goal and Casado Olozaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Casado Olozaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Rumicruz's goalkeeper Udalaitz Falceto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Xusto Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Humberto Plasencia came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Papurume fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Plasencia couldn't finish the play. Casado Olozaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Rumicruz's Zornin Santianes got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Ason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Urraca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Zilar Herbon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Rumicruz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papurume the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Zilar Herbon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Udalaitz Falceto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xusto Tinoco in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Papurume's Xusto Tinoco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Udalaitz Falceto. That made the score 1-1 after 97 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
