Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xavian Lampez got the match started through his kick off. If Jaramillo Garoña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Jaramillo Garoña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erick Lusa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xulio Navaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cruz Orbe having to interfere. Xulio Navaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xulio Navaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cruz Orbe having to make a save. Xulio Navaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cruz Orbe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Jaramillo Garoña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Mielgo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Raireta to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chota booed when Tume FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerson Salas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Xulio Navaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chota's supporters rose to their feet, but Xulio Navaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cruz Orbe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavian Lampez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tume FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mauricio Redondas hit a great ball. Xulio Navaes took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cruz Orbe. Cruz Orbe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, Tume FC's Erick Lusa threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Raireta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cruz Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Alexander Condal, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 84th minute, Xulio Navaes made a precise shot to the right of Cruz Orbe. Tume FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Chota's Erick Lusa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Chota from getting a goal against them. Xavian Lampez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cruz Orbe having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chota fully deserved thier win.
