Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xacobo Cotero took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Maximo Casanova managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Casanova was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pavel Cueto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Casanova's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Orta FC's Sotomayor Moyuelo got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos-Alberto Monte in the 25th minute of play forced Zambrano's goalkeeper Pavel Cueto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Orta FC booed when Zambrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pancho Baroja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Escalada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guagua Navaridas in the 37th minute. If Carlos-Alberto Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Xacobo Cotero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salvador Escalada. The goal made the score 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Carlos-Alberto Monte made the kick off in the second half. Maximo Casanova might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavel Cueto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Casanova ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramiro Teijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pavel Cueto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Zambrano's goalkeeper Pavel Cueto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Casanova. After 63 played minutes Zambrano got a freekick which was hit by Pancho Baroja. After a rather tough play, Orta FC's Pico Quintero got a free kick in the 66th minute. Xacobo Cotero struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Salvador Escalada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zambrano. When Pancho Baroja fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zambrano's protests and gave Pancho Baroja a yellow card for diving instead. Pancho Baroja hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Maximo Casanova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pavel Cueto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Cueto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Casanova went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Pavel Cueto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos-Alberto Monte in the 85th minute of the match. Maximo Casanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Cueto having to interfere. In the 97th minute Carlos-Alberto Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Cueto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Orta FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
