Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anangonó Palencia took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Yader Pujals was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yarizahua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calichana the free kick. After a rather tough play, Yarizahua's Yader Pujals got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ramon Gonzales struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. De-la-Cruz Jerena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calichana. Yader Pujals kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. León Bayllo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for De-la-Cruz Jerena. Yarizahua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Valdo Ezquerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xines Parra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Denis Azua skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd of the match, Anangonó Palencia tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Denis Azua got in the way and made a wonderful save. 24 minutes into the match, Yarizahua's goal looked a bit too open when Xines Massana came free, but De-la-Cruz Jerena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yarizahua's De-la-Cruz Jerena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Gonzales in the 29th minute of play. De-la-Cruz Jerena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Ezquerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Yarizahua's De-la-Cruz Jerena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Gonzales in the 31st minute of play. When Valdo Ezquerra came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Calichana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Ezquerra couldn't finish the play. Yader Pujals kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Anangonó Palencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, one of Yarizahua:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Calichana. León Bayllo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving De-la-Cruz Jerena. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Calichana's zone, Xines Parra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Azua came out of the goal and Xines Parra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Yarizahua players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Calichana were winning 0-2.

In the 57th minute Xines Parra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Azua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo Ezquerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. De-la-Cruz Jerena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yarizahua's zone, Ramon Gonzales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. De-la-Cruz Jerena came out of the goal and Ramon Gonzales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Calichana's Ramos Mauleon got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Calichana's zone, Xines Parra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Azua came out of the goal and Xines Parra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Azua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anangonó Palencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, Yarizahua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yader Pujals to maneuver through the defense.
