Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Checa Moyano started the match with the kick off. Jerson Foubelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Checa Moyano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Azua was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Ramos Mauleon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Checa Moyano might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Azua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Checa Moyano ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 18 minutes, Jerson Foubelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pioter SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerson Foubelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Checa Moyano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Azua having to interfere. When Valdo Ezquerra came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Calichana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Ezquerra couldn't finish the play. Ramon Gonzales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Luzuriaga Alcedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Pioter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Gonzales came free, but Luzuriaga Alcedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ramos Mauleon fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calichana's protests and gave Ramos Mauleon a yellow card for diving instead. Ramos Mauleon kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Ramos Mauleon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. The supporters of Pioter SC booed when Calichana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramos Mauleon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Azua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerson Foubelo in the 37th minute of the match. Denis Azua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Checa Moyano in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Calichana getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ramon Gonzales hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Calichana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pioter SC:s goal. The referee gave Pioter SC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vergaray Traveso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calichana's Denis Azua. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Valdo Ezquerra made the kick off in the second half. Checa Moyano might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Azua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Checa Moyano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute of the match Espinola Andia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luzuriaga Alcedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luzuriaga Alcedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Ezquerra in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pioter SC's Castro Lino got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Xines Massana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Valdo Ezquerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Castro Lino hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Luzuriaga Alcedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Ezquerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Pioter SC defense, Valdo Ezquerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luzuriaga Alcedo. The Pioter SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luzuriaga Alcedo should have stopped the shot. Pioter SC's Jerson Foubelo collided with an opponent after 78 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. Victor Elenes charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Elenes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victor Elenes hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Checa Moyano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Azua. The goal made the score 1-2. Valdo Ezquerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luzuriaga Alcedo having to interfere. Checa Moyano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pioter SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pioter SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
