Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gomez Arceo started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the UD Tobachirin defense, Espínola Corroto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Cerrajeria. The UD Tobachirin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Cerrajeria should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Xulian Bermudez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gomez Arceo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xulian Bermudez came out and tried to block the shot, but Gomez Arceo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the game, Pedro Zamudio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Tobachirin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tulcan SC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of UD Tobachirin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tulcan SC:s goal. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Tulcan SC. Xuan Estramiana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aurelio Cerrajeria. 2-2. In the 29th minute, Manuel Escorcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tulcan SC's Rixon Villajane got a free kick in the 31st minute. Blandón Candia, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Maximiliano Jado's late challenge caught a UD Tobachirin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Jado helped the player get up and apologised. Espínola Partarroyos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Xulian Bermudez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gomez Arceo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Escorcia made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Gomez Arceo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tulcan SC's Xulian Bermudez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gomez Arceo in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xulian Bermudez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gomez Arceo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Tobachirin's Aurelio Cerrajeria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save UD Tobachirin from getting a goal against them. Xulian Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espínola Partarroyo in the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Espínola Partarroyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xulian Bermudez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The supporters of Tulcan SC booed when UD Tobachirin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xzavion Cugurulls didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Espínola Corroto lined in a short shot 3-3 behind a frustrated Aurelio Cerrajeria. Rixon Villajane got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gomez Arceo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Tulcan SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gomez Arceo came free, but Xulian Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Tulcan SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo-Enrique Cañarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tulcan SC's goalkeeper Xulian Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximiliano Jado got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of UD Tobachirin booed when Tulcan SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Jado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Espínola Partarroyo notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Tulcan SC's Xulian Bermudez. Xulian Bermudez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
