Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sebastian Jate started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Xalvador Sendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Jate in the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Xavier Lasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Amesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Angel Erruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Zharzhan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Erruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Angel Erruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Amesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alex Amesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Lasso in the 26th minute of play. After 29 played minutes UD Zharzhan got a freekick which was hit by Martinez Iturburu. Angel Erruz struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Alex Amesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Zharzhan. Alex Amesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuñiga Urruchua in the 42nd minute of play. Alex Amesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Erruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half UD Zharzhan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Erruz to make the kick off. Xosepin Janez got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Ramos Cabezas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the CD Tiopamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramos Cabezas couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Ramos Cabezas suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Xamin Barboa's late challenge caught a CD Tiopamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xamin Barboa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CD Tiopamba booed when UD Zharzhan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xamin Barboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD Tiopamba's Desiderio Ordoña got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in UD Zharzhan's zone, Sebastian Jate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xalvador Sendin came out of the goal and Sebastian Jate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ledesma Arguiso charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ledesma Arguiso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ledesma Arguiso hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in UD Zharzhan's zone, Sebastian Jate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xalvador Sendin came out of the goal and Sebastian Jate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th match minute, UD Zharzhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuñiga Urruchua to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute Sebastian Jate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalvador Sendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The UD Zharzhan players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CD Tiopamba from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
