Michael Aubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blanco Mediano in the 6th minute of play. Xurxo Polledo scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Aubert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Blanco Mediano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quimshi's Michael Aubert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Langayo in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Quimshi's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Mediano came free, but Michael Aubert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ximeno Cañedo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Javier Gallostegui reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zoilo Buedo. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 41st minute, Paolo Langayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Aubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blanco Mediano in the 44th minute of play. Quimshi's Gilmar Herrera got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Michael Aubert made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Xurxo Polledo sent off a good shot on target. If Gilmar Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. When Victoriano Santistevan fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quimshi's protests and gave Victoriano Santistevan a yellow card for diving instead. Victoriano Santistevan kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Xurxo Polledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Aubert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Viresmil SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
