Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marin Marti kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Segundo Azua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Usarralde in the 6th minute of play forced Piuntza's goalkeeper José-Manuel Pascalin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cotera Valdero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Marti in the 8th minute of the match. Mateus Caceres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 played minutes Piuntza got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Urrue. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Taquil's goalkeeper Cotera Valdero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Piuntza's zone, Mateus Caceres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José-Manuel Pascalin came out of the goal and Mateus Caceres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Edson Masseda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Taquil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piuntza the free kick. A collision led to UD Taquil getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Edson Masseda hit a great ball. Cotera Valdero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Marti, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Zornin Chirghentino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cotera Valdero made a huge save. Cotera Valdero made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Marin Marti sent off a good shot on target. If Marin Marti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Usarralde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José-Manuel Pascalin having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Usarralde to strike the kick off in the second half. Cotera Valdero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zornin Chirghentino, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cotera Valdero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Marti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Martin Usarralde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Mateus Caceres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Taquil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Caceres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Piuntza's Zornin Chirghentino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cotera Valdero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mateus Caceres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. José-Manuel Pascalin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-2 became the score in the 96th minute when Mateus Caceres elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. UD Taquil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
