Xabier Cabañero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mendoza Echart having to make a save. Namarin FC's Xorxe Vianes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xelo Moniz in the 13th minute of play. CD Cuyabeno's Victor Pamanes got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cotera Valluercas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Mendoza Echart to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cotera Valluerca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Namarin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cotera Valluerca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mendoza Echart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xorxe Vianes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matamba Gallega in the 29th minute of play. Victor Pamanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xelo Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Namarin FC defense, Xelo Moniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xorxe Vianes. The Namarin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xorxe Vianes should have stopped the shot. Xelo Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Suárez Viramontez kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Xabier Cabañero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Namarin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xabier Cabañero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xabier Cabañero to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Pablo Pantojas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Cuyabeno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Namarin FC the free kick. A collision led to CD Cuyabeno getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pablo Pantojas hit a great ball. Namarin FC's Xabier Cabañero got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xabier Cabañero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mendoza Echart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabier Cabañero in the 56th minute of play. Matamba Gallega hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Xelo Moniz in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xorxe Vianes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 71 minutes into the game, Namarin FC's Xabier Cabañero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mendoza Echart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Pamanes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xorxe Vianes. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. Xabier Cabañero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cotera Valluerca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mendoza Echart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabier Cabañero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mendoza Echart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xabier Cabañero, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A collision led to CD Cuyabeno getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Parisi Cotorro hit a great ball. Cotera Valluerca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CD Cuyabeno's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
